How do you build custom spas, hot tubs and cold plunges?
Custom spas, hot tubs, and cold plunges are built in a similar fashion to pools in the challenging Rocky Mountain region. The shell of the spa is sculpted out of steel rebar. This steel cage is then shot or sprayed with a superior product called Shotcrete, which comes wet, reducing the possibility of dry-pocketing. The walls are 12 inches thick, offering a concrete strength of 7000 PSI. A final hand crafted layer of plaster gives the Spa its final smooth sheen. The pool is the filled as the plaster likes to cure under water.
This is a very brief description of the Custom Spa building process. You also have many options such as tile and deck styles, CopingStones, cantilever decks, retractable covers, etc. We have Landscape designers on staff should you need help in planning your future oasis.
